Sunny dreaming

Tälläisinä kylminä talvisina päivinä, jolloin lämpöasteet ovat miinuksen puolella, jäätävä tuuli puhaltaa ja mietit tuhanteen kertaan miksi et ottanutkaan niitä hanskoja ja pipoa, tekee mieli olla

kaukana kaukana eksoottisissa maissa, jossa aurinko lämmittää suurimman osan vuodesta. Sellaisessa maassa kuin Thaimaa...Ja siellä minä tulen olemaan tasan kuukauden päästä tästä päivästä!!! Siitä, siis, puhuin aikaisemmissa postauksissa:) Tämä ei voisi tulla parempaan aikaan vuodesta! Talven keskellä, kun täällä on kylmää ja pimeää ja uuden vuoden toisena päivänä, mikä aloitus vuodelle! En voisi olla iloisempi!:) 

Olen vieraillut Thaimaassa kerran aikaisemmin vuoden 2012 keväällä ylioppilaskirjoitusten päätettyä:) Ja rakastuin paikkaan totaalisesti, mikä paratiisi maan päällä! Olemme silloin olleet Phuketissa, ja vaikka olenkin lukenut huonoja arvosteluja Phuketista matkakohteena turistikertymän takia, itselläni ei ole mitään valittamista paikasta. Oltiin tosin ihan kaupungin reunalla ja meidän kaupunginosa oli ihana, rauhallinen paikka, jossa oli upeat rannat. Pidin kaikesta sillä matkalla. Ja toivon, että tämäkin matka tulee olemaan yhtä onnistunut:) 

Tällä kertaa matkustamme Koh Tao-nimiselle saarelle kahdeksi viikoksi. Eli luvassa on vaaaaain rentouttamista:) Ja tällä kertaa ollaan menossa melkein koko perheellä, kerrankin! En malta odottaa jo lomaa ja aurinkoa:) Onneksi tässä on vain kuukausi jäljellä:)

Such cold winter days like today, when the temperature is on minus side of thermometer, and there is this freezing wind blowing, making you wondering all over again why didn't you take gloves and a hat with you, makes you want to be far far away in exotic countries, where the sun shines most of the year. In a country like Thailand ... And that is where I'll be in exactly one month from this day !!! This could not come at a better time of the year! In the middle of winter, when it is cold and dark and depressing. It's also the greatest way to start new year:) I couldn't be happier! :)

I have visited Thailand once in the spring of 2012. And fell in love with the place. It is a paradise on Earth! Back then we stayed in Phuket, and although I have read some bad reviews of Phuket because of "too much tourists" , I don't have anything to complain about, for me it was just perfect. Our neighborhood was a wonderful, peaceful place, with really beautiful beaches and hotel was really cozy too. 

This time we are travelling to Koh Tao island for two weeks. So there will be total relaxation :) Just books, family, peace and beautiful nature. And this time, we are going almost the whole family, for once! I can't wait for a holiday and the sun :) Fortunately, there is only a month left! Counting days! :)
